Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC

As a mid-range SUV, the GLC has a lot of practical features on offer including the 4MATIC four-wheel drive system, great safety features and an adaptive driving system.

All of these form the base for the AMG specialists from Affalterbach to give the GLC more power, more dynamism and more control and give the driver the best performance possible.

On the outside, the signs of AMG involvement are there, with the unique grille fitted to AMG-tuned models accenting the front end, extra chromed detailing along the skirts and special exhaust tailpipes to stand out from most other GLCs.

Much of the inner workings have been altered by AMG to make the feel of the GLC more energetic. In other vehicles the increased power and response can lead to a feeling of instability and a loss of driver confidence as a result, but thanks to the AIR BODY CONTROL sports suspension, the GLC feels more manoeuvrable and nimble through the corners.

AMG DYNAMIC SELECT gives the driver the option of five drive modes so that they can get the right feel at the right time. The driver can select from ‘Eco’, ‘Comfort’, ‘Sport’, ‘Sport Plus’ and ‘Individual’ where the owner can set up the car how they want it.

In combination with the 4MATIC four-wheel and the 9G-Tronic automatic gearbox, the 3.0-litre V6 biturbo engine produces 367hp and can go from 0-60mph in 4.9 seconds, with a limited top speed of 155mph.

Inside, the sport-themed high quality finish continues with a mostly leather finish on the seats, trim and sports steering wheel, and the AMG instrument cluster on a 5.5-inch screen will keep you up to speed.

The AMG GLC 43 4MATIC is available to order now, with the full market launch beginning in June 2016.
