Mercedes-Benz E Class estate

Quality products are guaranteed from the Mercedes-Benz name and with multiple shapes and sizes to choose from, it's almost guaranteed that you will find a Mercedes for you.

Practicality is key for many people and nothing is more practical than a Mercedes-Benz estate.

Starting off with the smallest of the range, the CLA Shooting Brake first of all looks great, with the styling features carried through from the coupe version of the CLA to help it look smooth but as sporty as possible.

As an estate however, it has lots of room inside, making the CLA Shooting Brake very versatile. Thanks to an extended roofline, taller interior space and bigger boot, this model has plenty of space for both transporting stuff and people around with ease.

Thanks to the streamlined bodywork, the CLA can return superb economy figures, as the CLA 200 d paired with a manual gearbox is capable of 65.7mpg. Also that means it is quiet in the cockpit with the low-drag body shape keeping noise down and vibration down to a minimum.

The range is also full of great options, with the Sport, AMG Sport, AMG, OrangeArt and Mercedes-AMG trim levels giving you lots of choice over which CLA Shooting Brake to choose. The range starts at £26,030 for the CLA 180 Sport, with the top end Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 4MATIC priced at £43,515.

Carrying on the consummate style of the saloon version, the C-Class Estate is a staple Mercedes-Benz, having been an ever-present in the range for a long time. It also part of the highly adaptive C-Class range, which has been at the top end of its field for a considerable amount of time.

With a classic design, top-end technology and plenty of practicality, the C-Class Estate has everything you need. With a touchpad to control the infotainment system, head-up display to keep your eyes on the road and Mercedes me connect to keep you in the know wherever you are, you are well catered for in the technology department to keep you entertained and informed on the road.

As with any other Mercedes, there is a wide variety of engine options to choose from, starting from the C200 petrol, through the C300 h diesel hybrid and up to the Mercedes-AMG C63 S, which is fitted with a 4-litre V8 biturbo engine.

The C-Class Estate starts from £29,495 for the C200 manual, with the top-end AMG-tuned C63 S costing £68,650.

Another in the Shooting Brake family is the CLS that, like its smaller CLA sibling, takes the coupe styling of the regular model and then extends the roofline to add more interior space.

With the flowing style of the coupé paired with the usability and practicality of an estate, the CLS Shooting Brake is a top quality vehicle, and the interior is finished in a similar fashion with high-end materials and has plenty of space for everyone to ride in comfort.

As with the other estates on offer, the CLS Shooting Brake has safety in mind, with ATTENTION ASSIST, Adaptive Brake system, Hill Start Assist and PRE-SAFE system, which adjusts your seat to a safer position before an accident.

Only available as an AMG Line or AMG, the CLS Shooting Brake starts from £48,645 for the CLS 220 d automatic, with the Mercedes-AMG CLS 63 S priced at £87,525.

To round out the range is the superb E-Class, a model that has been around for a long time, and for good reason. It is reliable, well built and well designed, with the high quality interior finish helping to create the best interior environment possible for the driver and passengers.

With a dynamic design both on the outside and under the bonnet, you can drive the E-Class how you want, including the E 220 BlueTEC that is fitted with a 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel with turbocharger, which can return 60.1mpg and good emission stats.

As with the other models in the estate range, the E-Class Estate includes extra equipment packages that add more accessories to your already well fitted model, such as the Premium and Premium Plus packages.

The E-Class Estate range starts from a respectable £36,660 for the E 220 BlueTEC SE, with the top of the range Mercedes-AMG E63 S priced from £86,525.
