The Mercedes-Benz GLA is the smallest SUV that the brand currently offers, but that doesn’t mean that it isn't as capable as its larger siblings.
The newest model, which is coming to an Inchcape Mercedes-Benz Centre in April this year, takes inspiration from the other models in the Mercedes SUV segment and puts it in a sporty hatchback-style body.
Inside, the GLA has been made more comfortable than before with the addition of new seat design and trims, and with chromed control panels, switches and a slim eight-inch media display, the GLA is more stylish than before.
Vehicle safety is also paramount with the new GLA, as Mercedes fits active brake assist and attention assist as standard, which applies the brakes when you’re too close to the vehicle in front and detects whether the driver is drowsy to then alert them and prevent a possible accident.
With two AMG versions of the GLA being built that are being fitted with tweaked engines, the 4Matic all-wheel drive system and a more premium feel that helps to make them even more special. The Yellow Night Edition adds yellow detailing to the matt graphite grey body work, with the yellow theme continuing into the interior trim as the edging and stitching for the premium feel interior.
Prices for the new GLA start from £25,800 for the GLA 200 SE, with the top level GLA 45 4Matic Yellow Night Edition costing £53,135.
